Be careful using finger holes. With the boat in motion they can quickly become finger breakers 😦 A hole with a short rope knotted in the hole or some variation works pretty good.
I had good luck with the GE silicon 2. Unlike normal silicon it has good adhesive qualities.
Love you Lab, had my Maggie for 13 years, best damn dog ever.. I still miss her.
