Hi Jordan –

It is called the ‘sole’ in the cockpit also. 🙂

Like you, I’m fixing up an old Pearson, an Ariel from ’67. Interesting experience, I’m doing it while living aboard with my 2 dogs, and after several years of trying different layouts and figuring out exactly how I wanted her to be, we are close to being able to start taking trips. Heading down the East Coast for a bit this Dec/Jan for trip #1…

Looking good, I outfitted a NorSea 27 one time while living aboard and it can get crowded with tools, materials, and such.

    Fortunately I still have my van to live out of, but I could only imagine the logistics of living and working on the cabin simultaneously. Almost bought a NorSea hull on the east coast, very nice boats.
