two weeks away from departure. nora and i both anxious and terrified on the always mysterious docks of moss landing. both feeling feed the extreme amount of energy needed to finish all the system on the boat that i think necessary for our sail to catalina. nora and her giant frizbee always keep me in check, she’s a constant reminder of being happy for each moment of life
a few dock buddies and I take selene out for what would end up being her final trial in the bay before setting of on our west coast journey. you can see me successfully raising the sails for the first time ever. i’m sure it will not go that smoothly every time, but you gotta start somewhere. you can also see the new cabin top i built for staying out of the weather while tending the helm.
